One of the Solastis CRM key features is to create and attach Task Templates to specific Case Types. Task template is a work flow that consists of a number of steps or Tasks in a logical sequence, that need to be performed within a defined time frame (SLAs). Any Case under that Case Type, will have to pass through the attached Task Template.
Integrating Task Templates with the SLAs helps the Case move in a structured way. The user can move from one Task to the other, only after completing the present Task, which forces him to perform every step mentioned in the template. Task Templates are also very useful in scenarios where the Case has to move from one department to another, or from one geographical location to another. For example, if a sale has been made and the Case moves to the billing department for invoicing, and then to delivery department for delivery, then specific steps or tasks can be created for every stage. This ensures that the Case is moving in an efficient manner and following the defined work template.
If the SLAs are activated for that task, system will calculate the time allowed for a specific task and prompt the user in case he overruns the time required to complete the task.
